We were very fortunate to find HX for remodeling the outside of our home with siding, stone, trim, and gutter work. It was a major project for us so we wanted to work with a reputable business. The team at HX checked all of the boxes. They gave us a competitive price and excellent customer service. They made it painless to select from a wide variety of materials in their showroom, and to schedule the work crews. All I had to do was admire the quality of the workmanship. HX Home Solutions did our door and window replacement and we couldn't be happier! Mario and Shaunak were both so friendly and knowledgeable. They worked with us to revise our quote multiple times so our windows and doors were fully customized to what we wanted, but they also worked to stay within our budget. They did our project during one of the busiest times of the year - right before winter when everyone is upgrading windows - and yet the expected turn around time was substantially better than every other company we got quotes from. And they ended up being ready even quicker than predicted! The crew on the days of installation was wonderful - friendly and very professional. They were speedy but very thorough, and always fully cleaned up after themselves. And Mario made sure to check in every day to ensure everything went smoothly. He even went and found us new trim that matched since the old one couldn't be salvaged! And he's so knowledgeable on all things home improvement, he answered a couple unrelated questions for me, which (as a first time homeowner) was so nice and helpful. Then just a couple months after installation we had that week of snow and -30 degree temperatures and the new windows and doors insulated beautifully. Our home stayed perfectly warm with no draft or anything. I will 100% recommend HX to any friends, family, or strangers that need new doors and windows, or any remodel!

HX was Pella’s preferred contractor for the installation of our new slider door. From the beginning Shaunek’s team, headed by Mario, were excellent. Mario came out for a quote evaluation. He was friendly, professional and thorough. We were replacing a window with the slider so some construction was required. Exterior brick work had to be removed, the lower part of the wall had to be removed and a hvac register had to be moved to the left to accommodate the door opening. The masons headed by Ziggy did a fantastic job. You cannot tell that any changes were made. Richie installed the door . It is perfect! Mario moved the vent and and register over. It looks as though it has always been set up this way. I would highly recommend HX Home Solutions for any construction job that you have. Thorough, professional, and friendly with great customer service. Good prices too!

Just blown away by the whole team at HX. We had our roof, windows, doors, and siding and chose HX over 3 other established, reputable companies (they were not the cheapest or the most expensive). We chose them because of their no pressure and HONEST sales approach. They explained the pros and cons of each product, how everything works together, and even explained the games some companies play with pricing. They were transparent every step of the way. We loved working with Mark from the Wisconsin branch for our windows and doors. We had him quote both windows, doors, and siding. We decided to start with windows and doors first because those were failing the most on our home. They installed 44 ProVia windows, a double pane patio door, a 4 pane patio door a gazebo storm door, and a back storm door. The installers were very friendly and made sure everything was just how we wanted it along the way. Mark was super knowledgeable about the products and very responsive. He was there every step of the way from quoting to project management and install. It was nice to just have 1 point person instead of a 1-800 number like other companies we talked to. We liked that Mark “nerded out” on details of everything so we knew exactly what we were getting and WHY between all the different options available. We’re thrilled with the windows and not having anymore drafts or ladybugs sneaking in. Next up is siding in the spring. We’re switching from cedar to James Hardy. Woodpeckers are having a hay day with our cedar and we’re tired of painting it every 2-3 years. We had fun picking colors for trim and siding. I can’t wait for this project. I guess after this we will have to get the roof done next 😂

We had HX replace our windows as well as our front & storm doors. The total order was 19 windows, 1 4-light bow, front door with sidelights and a sliding glass/screen storm door. We worked with Phil on the sale, Shaunak and Shelly on the documentation and correspondence, and Richie on the install. They were all very informative, honest, and pleasant to work with. There was no pushy sales pitch from Phil like we experienced with the regional and national window companies. He gave us our window options, pros & cons of each, timelines, and fair prices. Contracting, scheduling, and any other correspondence was smooth and timely. Our manufacturing wait time was about 10 weeks, then Richie installed everything within a week. A few items of note: I was impressed that Richie not only tested each item, but also handled the claim with the manufacturer to replace the non-functional pieces (a few safety locks and latches). He returned within 2 weeks after install to change those out. Also, our storm door glass didn't align correctly to itself, so HX handled that warranty claim with the manufacturer, who sent a new storm door and wanted the misaligned one back. Shaunak, Phil, and Richie each played a role with this and made the process very smooth for us. Lastly, their price was very fair. It wasn't the cheapest quote we received nor was it the most expensive. For the service and quality of materials, we definitely got our money's worth.

Paul and his crew were very professional and finished the project ahead of time and on budget. I would have no regrets referring Paul to family and friends. Let me start by saying that I don’t write up reviews unless a company has truly done and all-around exceptional job. That is definitely the case for HX Home solutions! I had them re-side the 6 gables (with frieze boards) on my home with Hardie shingles. The results were exceptional. The crew (Rob and Matt) are excellent carpenters who I found were with the company for an impressively long time. I was very impressed by the detail they paid to the installation from start to finish on what I would say were some rather difficult situations. I say all this after having a rather extensive experience working with contractors over the years on several properties that I have owned. How did I decide on HX after speaking with at least 5 Hardie contractors? It started with meeting with Phil (the estimator). He and I spoke the same language dealing with construction and I could tell he had a great deal of hands on experience himself. Their contract was very detailed and thorough. Pricing was very competitive and actually was substantially lower that Landmark Exteriors. Al in all, I would consider HX the company to go with on your remodeling projects.

Our whole house window installation experience was exceptional. HX Home Solutions provided clear communication throughout the week-long process. The high quality work was done very orderly by expert installers who maintained a very clean job site throughout the installation process. One of our best house project experiences we had in the 25 years we've owned our home.

The project was to remodel a 30-year-old fireplace, replacing black marble with a beautiful stone veneer and the result is nothing short of amazing. HX replaced my original faded/cracked wood front door with a beautiful ProVia fiberglass door. The installation required that the seams on the sides be sealed with caulk to weatherproof it. HX sealed it with caulk but then fabricated an extra panel to make the installation look perfect. They also stained the new casing to perfectly match the door. They truly take great pride in their work and in customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again for other projects.

Phil was great. Our house has older Hardie siding installed by some other company. While I was concerned about some boards in wetter areas, Phil told me what needed to be done, which turns out to be minimal. I learned two things today: James Hardie is fabulous siding, and if I ever need to replace it, the only company I would call for installation is HX Home Solutions. Thanks again for your help, Phil.

We have worked with HX Home Solutions on 3 separate occasions, and were satisfied each time. In the most resent work they replaced 9 second floor windows with vinyl ProVia windows. These are good quality windows at a reasonable cost. The sashes go up and down smoothly and they tip inward for washing and can also be removed. I was concerned with possible damage being done to siding and plantings around the perimeter of the house during the replacement process. No damage occurred! We were sent a two man crew to replace the windows. A man by the name of Richie was in charge. After asking our permission they set up their equipment in our garage and on our driveway. Richie worked from inside the house and his crew mate worked outside on a ladder. They covered the floor near each window for protection. There was much less noise and pounding than I had expected. The work took one and a half days. When they left my garage was cleaner than before they came. What really impressed me about Richie is when I asked him to remove an old bird nest from the gutter above one of the new windows. During the removal of the nest I noticed that the gutter was also loose at that point. He tightened it up with 2 screws. Richie refused my offer of money for these side jobs. Without his help I would have need to hire someone else to do this simple job.

This company is a pleasure to do business with !! Had them install 28 casement windows and a new patio door and they were great . Phil Wesa , who did the estimate was helpful , knowledgeable and friendly . Suggested a few ways I could save some money without compromising the quality of the install and his bid was VERY reasonable compared to others I recieved . The windows arrived within the estimated time frame even with supply chain issues ! The two gentlemen who installed were friendly and efficient and did a super job ! My house had a few issues that I thought might complicate the installation { one window and patio door set in stucco} {all others in brick} but these guys were real pros, no cracks or open voids and it looks better than the original install . The owner ,Mr. Ahuja, is very easy to talk to about any issues or questions and Sherry is really super ! The windows themselves, Provia Endure are excellent ! If you need any of the services HX provides do not hesitate to contact them, I highly recommend these people . Local ,independent company that cares about the quality of the products they install and the customer service is outstanding ! 5 STARS !!

HX Home Solutions helped us update our '90's fireplace. The entire process was so easy! We met the sales rep Alan and he helped us re-imagine our fireplace. The stone was delivered in a timely fashion and the install was scheduled in short order. We had a major roof issue at our home. We had leaks appear and our drywall started showing water damage from the leaks. We called up HX Home Solutions. They come in and did an amazing job. They did an inspection both on the inside and outside. Our roof and gutters were very old and deteriorated. Their crew came in and worked efficiently and also were friendly. After the whole project was done, the owner came back and did a final inspection of the job. Also followed up a week later after a thunderstorm to check in on how the roof was. We would definitely use HX again if any home work needed to be done in the future.

Shaunak and his team did an amazing job on our home. We replaced the following: Siding, windows, front door, gutters and stained the outside brick. He came out and outlined everything they would do along with the timeframe and presented us with a very reasonable quote. His team of workers were very professional and their craftsmanship were second to none. HX Home Solutions helped us update our '90's fireplace. The entire process was so easy! We met the sales rep Alan and he helped us re-imagine our fireplace. The stone was delivered in a timely fashion and the install was scheduled in short order. On the install day, the mason and his assistant arrived on time, looked over the job, made sure they had all the necessary supplies and began. The job did take a bit longer than anticipated but the result is exactly what we were hoping for! They were so careful with our furniture, rugs and floors and left our home just as they found it. HX installed 10 new windows (some singles some 3window banks) in my townhouse in the city. They were very responsive and knowledgeable about what would be best for my window situation (had some old rotted window frames etc). They were very punctual and responsive, and did great work. A couple months later after the install, windows are still fantastic and I actually get compliments on them from visitors! Would highly recommend.

We wanted to say thank you to HX Home Solutions for completely updating our house with new custom colored siding from Hardie. We have received so compliments from the neighbors about the new look. The installation crews were professional, fast and neat. Flashing and caulking was first rate and am confident that we will have a water tight house. HX Home Solutions installed James Hardie siding and trim, Marvin windows and patio door, soffits and gutters, and garage door. Work was started and completed per schedule, job foreman was meticulous in every way, owner inspected work regularly. We were very pleased with the entire experience.

Hired to do roof & gutter replacement, insulation, stone masonry, chimney flashing & electrical. My project went very well. The workmanship was excellent & was completed on time. Their price estimate was on point except for a few surprises from prior vendors that could not be known until after the job started. They did a nice job of charging a reasonable cost to cover most of these surprises. Also there was questionable stone & flashing work done by previous HX Stone owner over 10 yrs ago. When I called them up to discuss this, they were concerned as they felt their reputation was on the line. They corrected the situation in a very satisfactory manner & made nice price adjustments to cover this. Based on this work, their desire to do this & their professionalism, I gave them the entire project, which initially I had no intention to do. Because of the short term turnaround to complete the job, one negative item was we could not schedule everything in its most logical path. This caused inconveniences more than anything else.

Easy company to work with. No pressure sales, Shaunak (owner). Installers were polite and cleaned up after completion of the job. HX offers a full line of products to solve any home issues. Will work with them again.
