Vinyl Siding & Windows Transform Lindenhurst Home

Let’s Discuss Your Project

Overview

The Dawson family's once-charming colonial home in Libertyville had begun showing significant signs of aging with faded, deteriorating vinyl siding and outdated entry features. They sought our expertise to revitalize their beloved family residence with materials that offered timeless appeal and modern durability against Chicagoland's challenging weather conditions.

The Challenge

The existing vinyl siding had severely faded over time, leaving the home vulnerable to moisture damage and compromising its insulation properties. Additionally, the entryway lacked architectural presence, with undersized columns and dated fixtures that diminished the home's colonial character rather than enhancing it.

The Process

Our team methodically transformed this classic colonial with premium materials and expert craftsmanship:

  • Siding Replacement: Premium James Hardie fiber-cement lap siding was installed in a sophisticated Deep Ocean color, providing superior protection against Chicagoland weather.
  • Entry Door and Windows: The front entryway received a complete makeover with a fiberglass door by ProVia flanked by decorative glass sidelights. Energy-efficient windows by ProVia replaced the outdated ones, improving the thermal performance.
  • Architectural Details: We added bold, clean James Hardie Arctic White Trim and wider columns to create a stronger architectural presence, properly framing the entrance.
